A Time of Grace

Darkness devours the world today,
How or why I cannot say.
Somewhere did we lose our way?
Or just simply go astray?

Let us once again embrace,
That time of peace, a time of grace.

Our daily lives are cursed and spent,
Even though we do 'repent'.
Did this all start with the Serpent?
Or just brought by 'one fine gent'?

Let us once again embrace,
That time of peace, a time of grace.

Times were lost, taken and destroyed,
It's time to take back times been toyed.
How did we all get so devoid?
I fear we're heading for the void...

'Tis too late to now embrace!
Lost is the time of peace and grace!
