Another Sacrifice I create the flame that brightens my eyes Taking it to the end of the death-stick in my mouth A writhing tendral of smoke now appears Slowly inhaling the rich nicotine and tar drug I sigh and exhale a cloud of decay Feeling the toxic luxury surge through every vein Smirking as this addiction slowly kills As the slithering snake of smoke climbs high The skies, turned to a darker shade of grey, are crying Crying as if for forgiveness from me Forgiveness for a crime that was never commited The true crime is now commited by me As I take another deep breath of destructive smog Looking up at the sky with defiance
